Chip Card is one of the leading processors of payment transactions operating in the territory of the Republic of Serbia and the region since 2004, and represents a reliable and stable partner to its clients – banks, sellers and other financial and non-financial organizations.

The Chip Card business consists of two business lines:

The payment transaction processing operations intended for banks and financial institutions, and
Operations of the eMoney Institution, e-Commerce and POS integration, intended for sellers.

Through Payten d.o.o. Beograd, as a majority shareholder, Chip Card is connected to companies within Payten Group, operating within the broader Asseco group.

E-MONEY INSTITUTION, INNOVATIVE SERVICES

During 2017 Chip Card was registered as a payment institution and started providing services and developing e-commerce. During 2021 Chip Card obtained the licence of the National Bank of Serbia for e-money issuance, which also includes authorizing Chip Card to provide payment services – the acceptance of buyers’ payment cards in e-sellers’ points of sale and the transfer of funds to sellers on the basis of sales transactions.

SECURE TRANSACTIONS

Chip Card provides the comprehensive services of payment transaction processing in line with the industry security standards, such as the PCI DSS and PIN-security standard. The software used in Chip Card’s operations is fully PA DSS-certified. In addition to the certificates specified above, Chip Card also holds the following certificates: ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 20000, ISO 22301, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Supported card brands include Visa, Mastercard, DinaCard, UnionPay, while Chip Card can also support other brands according to customer requests.
